Position Information:
The Respiratory Therapist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing airway management, administering medications, and applying oxygen therapy under physician orders. Our patient populations include adults, pediatrics, and neonatal patients, and the Therapist will plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy, communicating with physicians and the healthcare team.
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, with a preference for those with a background in pediatric and neonatal care. A strong educational foundation in respiratory therapy, including an Associate's Degree, is required. Additionally, the candidate must be certified as a Respiratory Therapist and hold a current NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license, as well as Basic Life Support certification.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, working 3 days a week with 12-hour shifts. The Therapist will be required to work every third weekend and participate in a call rotation.
