Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the production departments at Neptune, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, personnel, and processes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to drive results and improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of hourly employees, setting clear goals and expectations to drive performance and achievement.
- Administration of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to established guidelines.
- Monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating department and employee performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with manufacturing services to implement process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
- Working with the Engineering department to implement engineering orders and new product development.
- Thinking critically to identify and address issues affecting efficiency and productivity, and suggesting innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, with a preference for an Engineering degree.
- 2 years of experience in production, plastics injection molding, logistics, and/or supply chain management.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Location: Tallassee, Alabama (Note: This location is not a requirement, but rather a reference to the original job description).
