Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Forrest City Medical Center. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.

* Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department.

* Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.

* Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.

* Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

**Requirements:**

* ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications

* 13 weeks, nights 7p-36/48 rotation with 8 hours built in overtime

* On-Call requirements: (1-2 on call shifts per 6 week schedule)
