We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Lab team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering moderate sedation and monitoring patient vital signs during procedures.
- Assess procedure rooms for equipment functionality and readiness, and assist in obtaining supplies for individual cases.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting
- Current POC certification within six months of hire
- Ability to take call/standby in the Cardiovascular Lab as needed
