We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at AEG. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Provide information on wine characteristics, evaluate guests' needs, and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Work closely with the culinary team to create innovative mixers and garnishes for beverages.
- Ensure that the bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
- Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass doors and windows.
- Attend mandatory meetings and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- At least two years of experience as a bartender.
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes and preparation methods.
- Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team during set up and execution of service.
- Willingness to exceed guest expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to read, speak, and write English in order to communicate with guests.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to transport up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis.
- Alcohol Awareness certification.
- Food Handler's certification.
- ServSafe-food handling certification.
- Customer Service skills.
The hourly rate for this position is $18.75.
