Job SummaryAt TAG Auto Group, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Collision Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for automotive collision repairs or replacements. This role involves communicating with customers, inspecting, and assessing vehicles for damage, documenting findings, and providing estimates for repair or replacement costs. The Collision Estimator will work closely with customers and insurance companies to determine the most appropriate solution for the repair needs of each vehicle. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with other departments and suppliers to ensure estimates are accurate and meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications, customer service, and problem-solving skills, as well as a good understanding of automotive repair and insurance industry standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine repair costs
  • Communicate effectively with customers and insurance companies to determine the most appropriate solution for each vehicle
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for repair or replacement costs
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate with other departments and suppliers to ensure estimates are accurate and meet customer requirements
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and guidelines for automotive repair and insurance
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year collision estimating experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of the repair process and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Great organizational and effective time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Experience with CCC One
  • Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50lbs
