Position Summary:

The Janitor is responsible for executing routine cleaning operations to uphold the cleanliness and safety of facilities and surrounding areas. This role involves manual labor and encompasses various physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a comprehensive range of janitorial and custodial duties, including mopping and wall cleaning.
  • Engage in semi-skilled and skilled tasks across different trade areas as needed.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed in accordance with contract requirements.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with building cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment.
  • Understanding of the safe handling of a diverse array of chemicals in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Knowledge of proper disposal techniques for hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens.
