About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consulting services, you will be responsible for managing and supporting environmental investigation and remediation projects, as well as proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support senior project managers in managing small projects and tasks for existing clients.
  • Conduct environmental field work, including drilling, soil, soil gas, and groundwater sampling, data collection, and preparation of field documentation.
  • Prepare and support the preparation of work plans, sampling and analysis plans, remedial investigation reports, groundwater monitoring plans and reports, Phase I and Phase II ESAs, and similar activities.
  • Support senior project managers in proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, biology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related industry.
  • Experience with geologic, engineering, scientific, or general environmental projects and data interpretation.
  • Field experience, including subsurface soil, soil gas, and groundwater sampling, drilling, and well installation for hazardous waste site characterization, aquifer testing, remedial system installation, and system O&M.
