About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled mechanic to work on a variety of diesel equipment, including trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex diesel engine issues, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure fleet vehicles are in good working condition.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities in a detailed and accurate manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and other stakeholders, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a commercial diesel mechanic or reefer technician.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, working Sunday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You will be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as needed.
