Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Blast Hole Driller to join our team at the Manh Choh Mine in Tok, Alaska. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for welding and repairing structural steel products in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Operate drilling equipment in various conditions, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-shift safety inspections of drilling equipment.
- Maintain site security during drilling operations.
- Ability to work safely in a surface mine environment, following best practices and company policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Ability to meet all physical requirements of the job.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to climb, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on a 2-week on/1-week off schedule.
