Folsom Cordova Community Partnership Overview

At SALUDOS, we are committed to providing exceptional services to our community. We are seeking a skilled Career Specialist to join our team in the Folsom region.

This role involves working closely with individuals to help them achieve gainful employment. Your duties will include conducting initial assessments, managing cases, providing career coaching and counseling, assisting clients with developing Individual Employment Plans (IEPs), and exploring career pathways. You will also support clients with employment and community resources, and workforce readiness activities to meet their training and employment goals. Collaboration, coordination, and referrals for services with community partners and local employers will be key aspects of this role.

To succeed in this position, you must possess a minimum of one year of case management and employment services experience. Experience providing services through the SETA WIOA program is preferred. Additionally, you should be bilingual in another language(s) such as Dari, Farsi, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, or other languages. You must be at least 18 years old, able to legally work in the United States, and possess a valid Driver's License.

A BA degree in social work, psychology, ECE, or a similar field is required. Alternatively, you may hold an AA degree plus 2 years of experience in employment or social services, or a High School diploma/GED equivalent plus 4 years of experience in social services and/or employment services.

The salary for this role is $22.00 per hour. Benefits include 401(k), employee assistance program, flexible spending account, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

We offer a full-time schedule with an 8-hour shift. The ability to commute or relocate to Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 is required.
