We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Hi-Cone, a leading supplier of plastic-based multi-packaging systems. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrications, and adjustments to ensure equipment is running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with production equipment.
- Collaborate with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Conduct regular checks on building equipment, including pumps, chillers, compressors, and power systems.
- Respond to emergency situations and work on off-shifts as required.
- 1-3 years of trades training in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic component repair.
- Over 4 years of maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Forklift operation and control panel operation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds for extended periods.
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
- Good speaking, hearing, and vision ability.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a typical manufacturing environment with noticeable seasonal temperature fluctuations.
