Certification Requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Position Type: RN Telemetry I.
  • Unit Flexibility: Must be willing to float between 2N, 3N, 5N, & 6N.
  • Uniform: Scrub color is Ceil Blue.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Meditech.
  • Patient Capacity: Number of beds to be determined.
  • Patient Demographics: Focus on adult patient population.
  • Nursing Support: Nursing Assistant support available.
  • Charge Nurse Availability: Yes, with free charge.
  • Telemetry Monitoring: Yes, available on the unit.
  • IV Administration: Utilization of Alaris IV Pumps.
  • Care Level: Tele RN with emphasis on acute telemetry patients, including those on cardiac drips and post-surgical cardiovascular care.
  • Common Diagnoses: Includes CV diagnoses, chest pain, CHF, AFib, pre and post heart catheterization, pneumonia, and more.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Telemetry nursing.
  • Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
  • Experience Requirement: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Schedule Details
  • Shift Type: 12-Hour Night shifts.
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, floating is required.
Additional Information
  • Employment Type: Per Diem.
  • Work Setting: Nursing Float Pool.
  • Hiring Potential: Right to hire after evaluation.
  • Assignment Type: Scheduled on a shift basis (Per Diem).
