As a Staff RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to our residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting patient information accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- Assist with resident assignments and ensure that patient needs are met
- Monitor and evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Licensed and registered in good standing in New York State as an RN
- Experience with geriatric patients is desirable, but not required
- New grad RN welcome to apply
- Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, and disabled
- Possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and growth
- Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory and practice, and infection prevention principles/methods
