Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, wiring, and instrumentation, to support manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage a budgetary control process for areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least six (6) years' experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to make independent and well-thought-out decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
