Senior Companion

Job Summary:

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and companionship to seniors in their own homes. As a Home Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plan, including medication reminders and light housekeeping.
• Assist clients with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.

Requirements:

• Previous personal care experience, preferably in a home care setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred.
• Weekend availability strongly preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background investigation and motor vehicle driving record check.
