Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, paid weekly

Job Description

A qualified Speech-Language Pathologist is required for a full-time opportunity in a district celebrated for its supportive approach to staff and students. This position involves managing a K-12 caseload, providing speech therapy services to preschool-aged children and older students as needed.

This role is perfect for individuals with experience working in school-based settings or those looking to transition into this field. Our ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, be licensed in Connecticut, and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized speech therapy sessions to students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • A current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school-based setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
