Job Opportunity

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Summary:

  • Assist physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology procedures.
  • Administer contrast material and perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Monitor patients for hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac catheterization, pericardiocentesis, and vascular access procedures.
  • Assist with structural heart procedures, including TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip.
  • Work with hybrid peripheral vascular procedures in coordination with Vascular Surgery.
  • Utilize adjunctive tools, such as IVUS, FFR/iFR, and OCT, as needed.

Requirements:

  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • State license as a Radiology Technologist in Illinois.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sterile field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
