Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at CHI Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing healthcare system, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of cardiothoracic surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including those related to cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working closely with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, using advanced diagnostic techniques and technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training.
Requirements
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty.
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
