Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including those related to cardiothoracic surgery.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working closely with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, using advanced diagnostic techniques and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training.
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty.
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
