We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Riverview. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures under the direction of the MRI Medical Physician and the Regional Technical Supervisor of MRI.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of highly technical procedures, including MRI scans, to provide high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasonography preferred.
- Current ARRT certification and Florida State license in Radiologic Technology required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification or RQI required, with quarterly renewal.
