We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect care to medical and surgical patients, utilizing your expertise in assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process, ensuring accurate and timely interventions.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain professional and unit-specific standards of care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills, including certification and licensure requirements.
- Utilize effective communication and administrative skills to manage workload and prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Program and current valid license to practice nursing in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in medical surgical nursing is preferred, but not required.
- Thorough knowledge of patient assessment techniques, treatment methods, and unit-specific equipment.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills, with ability to respond to changing workloads and crisis situations.
