Job Description

At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patient care policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
