Your Opportunity and Impact

The Project Manager is responsible for overall project management, including design, communications, personnel management, budgets, schedules, quality control, business development, and client communication & relationships. This position will assist in preparing and implementing annual business goals and multi-year strategic business plans for the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage clients/projects specific to the discipline and discipline services, with the ability to adapt to multi-discipline services up to $1M revenue.
  • Create and track project budgets & schedules, identifying potential issues and overseeing sub-consultants.
  • Prepare workload forecasting reports and staffing plans, ensuring compliance with environmental, survey, and other rules, regulations, and permitting requirements.
  • Possess knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to design projects.
  • Prepare technical and price proposals, statements of interests, amendments, and schedules.
  • Promote quality assurance and quality control processes to improve deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate contract agreement documents for projects, signing within allotted parameters.
  • Identify new markets, develop leads & opportunities, perform business development activities, and pursue new geographies.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members, directing, mentoring, and guiding team members and staff.
  • Manage project risk in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture field.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' job-related experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Relevant licensure strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software Knowledge: Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a Project Team.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources.
