Commercial Credit Analyst

This role is responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of commercial loan customers. The Credit Analyst will contribute to the loan decision-making process, providing in-depth credit analysis of new and existing customers for the bank. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

• Conduct financial analysis of new and existing borrower relationships to evaluate their creditworthiness
• Prepare presentations of proposed loans, including objective recommendations regarding creditworthiness
• Develop and maintain relationships with loan officers, management, and other stakeholders
• Assist with bank audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Perform industry market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

The work environment is typically quiet, with occasional noise from office equipment and phones. The employee must be able to sit for long periods, use a computer, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
