Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Join our multifaceted team covering neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and elective neurosurgery cases.
  2. As an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP), your primary role will focus on neuro IR procedures, requiring a procedurally driven individual with excellent technical skills.
  3. You will complete thorough histories and physicals, obtain consents, coordinate care, assist with neuro interventional procedures, and cover neurosurgery day shifts.
  4. With comprehensive training, you will be equipped to handle all aspects of the neuroscience team.
  5. You may also have opportunities to cross-cover other APP-led service lines.

Requirements:

  • PAs: Bachelor's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program, certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physicians Assistants, and an active Maryland license through the Maryland Board of Physicians.
  • NPs: Bachelor's degree, RN experience, Acute Nurse Practitioner degree, and an active Maryland license through the Maryland Board of Nursing. Must be first-assist qualified.
  • One year of neurosurgery or neurocritical care experience is preferred.
  • Credentialing must be obtained from UM Capital Region Health's Medical Staff Office, and maintenance of BLS/ACLS certification is required. ATLS certification is preferred.
