Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accessibility UI/UX Specialist to join our team at RICEFW Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing web accessibility assessment and remediation programs, ensuring compliance with section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience in testing digital accessibility for WCAG 2.0 AA conformance
  • Experience handling accessibility compliance in real-world working environments
  • Testing desktop, mobile, and responsive web design
  • Using accessibility software and hardware tools
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing experience with at least one of the following screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, keyboards
  • Running axe and axe Expert browser extension
  • Setting up and running automated scans using axe Monitor
  • Setting up axe Auditor test cases and completing test runs
  • Coding accessible web pages using HTML and CSS
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Adobe XD
  • Answering developer, designer, and content contributor questions about accessibility requirements
Requirements
  • Two (2+) years of testing experience in digital accessibility for WCAG 2.0 AA conformance
  • Two (2+) years of experience handling accessibility compliance in real-world working environments
  • Two (2+) years of testing desktop, mobile, and responsive web design
  • Four years of experience using accessibility software and hardware tools
  • Two years of experience with accessibility testing using at least one of the following screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, keyboards
  • Two years of experience with running axe and axe Expert browser extension
  • Two years of experience with setting up and running automated scans using axe Monitor
  • Two years of experience with setting up axe Auditor test cases and completing test runs
  • Four years of experience coding accessible web pages using HTML and CSS
  • Two years of experience answering developer, designer, and content contributor questions about accessibility requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
