Transform Financial Management with West Monroe

We are seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our Financial Management team within our Operations Excellence practice. This role will bring business and technology experience to help clients transform their financial management landscape by streamlining operations through processes and technology improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve on client delivery teams, with increasing consultant responsibility, owning deliverable development and supporting key activities throughout a project.
  • Support functional workstream planning and execution by collaborating with team members and learning clients' business functions.
  • Assist Project Managers with updating project plans and keeping track of the project financials.
  • Demonstrate consistency in gathering data, data analysis, and preparing for and conducting client interviews.
  • Develop client-ready deck storylines and key message/findings, and effectively present findings and insights to client stakeholders.
  • Participate in and support the practice in development and enhancements to Financial Management methodologies, tools, and other collateral.
  • Identify and raise potential farming opportunities to project managers and practice leadership and monitor opportunity status to establish appropriate follow-up timing.
  • Assist with proposal development/BD efforts, developing proposals and statements of work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-3 years of 'hands-on' experience configuring business applications (ERP preferred).
  • Previous experience consulting from either a large/strategic consultancy or internal business applications/ERP/IT group.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create impactful and concise executive stakeholder-ready deliverables, and polished client-facing oral communication skills.
  • Strong data visualization and analysis skills; comfortable using tools like Excel to analyze data and present key insights in a compelling way.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe's core industries.
  • Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
