Job Title: Medical ICU Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Mission Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical ICU Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team. As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and manage patient hemodynamic status, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care.
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
