Job Title: Afterschool Bus Driver

We're looking for a dedicated and responsible Afterschool Bus Driver to join our team and help us carry out our mission to positively impact lives and communities across the state.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Afterschool Director, the Afterschool Bus Driver provides safe transportation to and from program sites while maintaining a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation to and from program sites
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus environment
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with program staff, parents, and community members
  • Attend staff training and meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Afterschool Director
Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Pass a background check and drug screening
  • Have a good understanding of the mission and values of the YMCA
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The Afterschool Bus Driver will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with program staff, parents, and community members. The driver will be required to work a varied schedule, including weekdays and occasional evenings.
