In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch patient care within our expanding healthcare facility. You will collaborate with a team of committed professionals, ensuring that safety and quality care are prioritized at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of care in the emergency room.
  • Quickly assess patients, prioritize needs, and assist with minor procedures.
  • Manage patient check-in and perform triage duties for physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients regarding test results and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel to relay lab findings to ER physicians.
  • Assist in the management of trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and sedation procedures.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in emergency situations based on patient assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for all ER patients, including advanced procedures.

Education Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or endorsement accepted
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an Emergency Department
  • Specialized nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the emergency care setting
Licenses/Certification Requirements:
  • Current RN License required; valid state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Physical Requirements:
  • Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly
