Empowering Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

At Sevita, we believe that every person deserves to live a full, more independent life. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport individuals to community outings, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
  • Support individuals in achieving developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
