Position Summary:

  • Engage with customers warmly, ensuring a welcoming and enthusiastic service atmosphere
  • Process orders, respond to inquiries, and promote additional products
  • Prepare, stock, display, and rotate items in fresh food sections
  • Adhere to food safety protocols while preparing items according to established recipes
  • Conduct quality and freshness inspections on all products
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of department equipment
  • Receive and verify inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and placing orders as necessary
  • Follow stringent sanitation guidelines and maintain associated documentation
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Effective communication skills with customers
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measure weights
  • Compliance with personal protective equipment requirements
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work efficiently
  • Possession of Food Handlers Certification

Equipment Utilized:

  • Point of Sale Systems
  • Knives, digital scales, and various kitchen tools
  • Cooking appliances such as deep fryers and ovens
  • Cleaning equipment including dishwashers and trash compactors
  • Material handling equipment like hand jacks and conveyor ovens
