Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team of healthcare professionals at Lee Health. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing GI procedures, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient general gastroenterology and GI procedures, including EGDs, Colonoscopies, and ERCPs
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on GI health and disease management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine and fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
- Experience in inpatient general gastroenterology and GI procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
