Pediatric Speech Pathologist

The Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. This role requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and current state licensure. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities- Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing
- Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers
- Provide clinical services, utilizing standards of care and evidence-based practices
- Comply with department and regulatory requirements and guidelines for documentation, charging, and scheduling
- Supervise and educate colleagues, new employees, and students
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state Speech Pathologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing and email)
- Current certificate of clinical competence
- Speech Pathology experience
- Hospital experience
- Experience with the target population to be treated
