We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification (preferred)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification (required within 6 months)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred)
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program (preferred)
- Specialty Certification (preferred upon hire, required within 2 years of eligibility)
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The position also requires the ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
