Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student learning and success
  • Assess and address the occupational therapy needs of students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote student independence and success
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Knowledge of special education processes and IEP development is an asset
