About the Role

Rosendin Electric is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of multiple small to medium-sized projects or one large project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policies. Develop clear and concise work statements for the field.
  • Team Leadership: Effectively supervise a staff in the day-to-day administration of a job or supervise two or more Project Managers in their daily tasks.
  • Training and Development: Train and effectively supervise Project Managers in the company philosophy and systems.
  • Change Order Management: Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
  • Project Tracking: Maintain all logs required to track the progress of the project.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain liaison with prime clients and architects/engineers to facilitate construction activities.
  • Construction Monitoring: Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budgets.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.
  • Representation: Represent the company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc.
  • Financial Management: Prepare monthly costing reports and manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and maintain good relationships with clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction, with knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred. PE license a plus.
  • Skills: Proven experience mentoring and managing others, business development, heavy client interaction, ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures, ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance, extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Oracle, and Accubid preferred.
