We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team at Ascension Saint Thomas West. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessing and coordinating patient care plans.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration and treatment plans.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record patient condition, including vital signs and other relevant data.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
