Position Overview

Elementary Special Needs Educator - Full-Time

The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Elementary Special Needs Educator to join our team. This role focuses on providing specialized educational support to students in a partial hospitalization setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of students.
  • Conducting assessments to evaluate student eligibility for special services.
  • Creating comprehensive Evaluation Reports and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
  • Delivering targeted educational services as outlined in the IEPs.
  • Utilizing the PELICAN system for data entry and management.

    • Master's Degree: $64,781
    • Master's +15 Credits: $66,195
    • Master's +30 Credits: $67,907
  • Annual work schedule of 187 days.

Qualifications:
