Role Overview...
The Showroom Visual Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Visual Merchandising Coordinator with the arrangement and upkeep of showroom displays.
This position involves executing product layout modifications and adjustments in accordance with marketing and visual directives, ensuring the Visual Merchandising department thrives at CITY Furniture.
Key Responsibilities...
As a Showroom Visual Associate, your main duties will include:
- Assisting in the transition of products across all display categories.
- Supporting the Visual Merchandising Coordinator by receiving, unpacking, tagging, organizing, and staging home accessories.
- Evaluating product displays to ensure they adhere to merchandising standards, including optimal placement and lighting.
- Properly installing various product categories such as rugs, lamps, chandeliers, and electronics.
- Aiding the Visual Merchandising Coordinator with heavy lifting, assembly, and installation of newly delivered furniture.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and showroom areas.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 to 5 years of experience in Operations or Maintenance within a retail setting
Work Environment:
- Monday to Friday schedule with limited evening and weekend hours.
- Flexible 40-hour work week.
- Retail showroom and warehouse setting, requiring travel between locations for merchandising projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy items exceeding 75 lbs, and to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to work at heights using a ladder.
Technology Skills:
- Proficiency in general PC use
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and email management
- Experience with Apple iPad
Certifications:
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
Additional Requirements:
- Basic proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdriver, pliers, hammer, drill)
- Basic wiring knowledge preferred.
