**Job Summary**

Lake Land College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor to teach in our Allied Health department. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the Phlebotomy program.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Teach Phlebotomy courses, including Phlebotomy Techniques and Phlebotomy Practicum
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Stay current with content, technology, and instructional methods in the field of Phlebotomy
  • Collaborate with program coordinators and other faculty members to achieve course goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate student records and submit required documentation

**Requirements**

  • Prefer a certificate or AAS in a health-related field
  • Required minimum of 2000 hours of work experience in the field and certification from ASCP strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to learn Lake Land College information systems and processes
  • Maintains all professional credentials required to teach in the area of discipline

**Working Conditions**

  • Teach on the Mattoon campus
  • Monday and Thursday nights from 4:30 - 8 PM

**Compensation**

  • $735 per ECH
