We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support our operations at Biogensys.
Role Responsibilities:
The nursing assistants will be assigned to various departments as required, catering to the diverse needs of our residents. This role involves working with individuals who may have psychological, dementia-related, or hospice care needs.
Key Duties:
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Support residents in restorative care according to their individualized care plans.
- Foster effective working relationships with clients, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to organizational policies and regulations to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in workspaces, resident rooms, and communal areas.
- Manage supply inventory and report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.
- Encourage residents to maintain or regain their independence while respecting their personal choices.
- Accurately document vital signs, care activities, and other nursing interventions.
- Promptly inform nursing staff of any significant changes in a resident's condition.
- Report any suspected cases of abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards.
Required Documentation:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CNA License from the state
- Covid vaccination card or exemption documentation
Work Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
- Evening Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
- Night Shift: 11 PM - 7:30 AM (30-minute unpaid break)
Additional Information:
- Contract Duration: 3 Months
- Dress Code: Solid Blue Scrubs
- Note: This is a per diem position.
