About This Role

Ascension Health Illinois seeks a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join its expanding breast team in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. This is a full-time position responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and performing breast cancer surgery, as well as providing treatment for all breast health issues.

Responsibilities
  • Perform surgical procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, lymph node dissection, and breast reconstruction
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with breast abnormalities through clinical examination, imaging studies, and biopsy procedures
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing breast surgery, including counseling, education, and follow-up appointments
