Job Summary:

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of technical expertise and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale software development activities, providing technical input to management, and serving as a senior source of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to software development teams.
  • Developing and implementing technical strategies to drive business growth.
  • Serving as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources.
  • Providing design input across a product.
  • Working directly with customers and end users.
  • Serving as acknowledged "go to" person on coding and technical issues.
  • Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
  • Writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
  • Mentoring/ leading software developers interested in consultancy on development methodologies and optimization techniques.

Requirements:

  • Possess an expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java and Java Based Frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot), Angular, PHP, XML, JSON, SQL.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate an expertise in Containerization, Container Orchestration, Microservices, REST Services and Cloud Technologies
  • Experience in using and developing applicable tool sets, including emerging toolsets like Github Copilot, GenAI Tools.
  • Possess advanced problem-solving experience as you will be leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues. Prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making.
  • Possess a track record as a software development process expert in applicable methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).​
