Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing test equipment and systems for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE) and electronic hardware for system production tests, system validation, and system-level field tests.
- Develop and design STE systems using NetAcquire, as well as card/box level STE and HW/SW integration.
- Perform cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, including Electronics & Mechanical Hardware, Software, and Systems engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Significant experience in Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment using NetAcquire hardware.
- Active DoD Interim Secret or higher clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated system design and versatility.
- Test system and test safety requirements development.
- Designing automated tests and test equipment using LXI instruments, cRIO, PXIe, Oscilloscopes, Serial Communications, SpaceWire Communications, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Counters, etc.
- Python software development experience for automated test equipment.
- LabVIEW Windows, LabVIEW Real-Time, and LabVIEW FPGA development highly desired.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $100,400 - $192,500.
