About the Role

The Behavior Technician position at Grafton Integrated Health Network involves working directly with children and families to deliver high-quality behavioral services. This role requires a strong commitment to developing skills as a behavior technician, with a focus on applying evidence-based practices to promote positive outcomes.

You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to establish and implement treatment plans based on functional assessments. Your responsibilities will include providing direct delivery of behavioral services to children and families, preparing written assessments, collecting individual progress data, and documenting case activities.

As a Behavior Technician, you will be part of a collaborative team that values open communication and teamwork. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in applied behavior analysis, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work under the supervision of a BCBA to collaboratively establish and/or implement a treatment plan based on a functional assessment.
  2. Provide direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families by implementing goals and objectives to ensure safety and engagement in appropriate instructional, leisure, and daily living activities within a natural environment.
  3. Prepare written assessments, assessing service recipients from multiple perspectives, including family functioning, social, academic, and behavioral, skills, strengths, barriers self-sufficiency, treatment history, and others.
  4. Implement language and academic programs by collecting individual progress data, maintaining program books, and creating teaching materials.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, or related field OR associate degree and 3 months experience working with children required OR high school diploma and 6 months experience working with children required
