SSM Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex needs, utilizing your expertise to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze comprehensive data to inform patient care decisions
- Triage patients to prioritize and optimize healthcare consumer flow
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote health and safety
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Demonstrate leadership and expertise in the professional practice setting
- Stay current with evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education
- No experience required, but prior experience in emergency nursing is preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and other relevant certifications as required by state or facility
