KurzSolutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Physician to join our team at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VAMC in Jackson, MS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Responsibilities- Provide immediate medical evaluation, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of patients presenting for care in the ED.
- Offer professional advice to other VA providers regarding the management of patients in the fast-track portion of the Emergency Department.
- Cover a range of emergency room care typically provided in an urban civilian practice of similar size.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in any other U.S. State or Territory.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with no less than 2 years full-time ER experience in a high-volume ED.
- Must be MD or DO and capable of treating patients of all ages.
- Must have a current DEA and maintain current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS by way of an American Heart training program (AHA or Red Cross).
