Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Baptist Health team, providing exceptional patient care and support in the operating room. As a skilled and compassionate nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing direct patient care activities, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide direct patient care activities, including provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities, ensuring seamless transitions for patients and families.
• Provide patient and family-centered education, empowering individuals to take an active role in their care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
