Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Coordinator to join our team at United Heritage Credit Union. This role involves coordinating the communication for loan closings between the member, the Credit Union, and third parties to provide a seamless experience for the member.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.

About the Role:

This position requires excellent listening ability, verbal communication skills, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience processing complex information in an accurate and thorough manner. They will also be able to work with a wide variety of internal and external clients providing effective interpersonal communication and team skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate loan closings for loans produced by Texas Mortgage Lending (TML).
  • Ensure all required documents are fully executed and compliant with set guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism and provide excellent member service, and a seamless experience for the member.
  • Answer member questions and concerns regarding their closing documents.
  • Promote the Credit Union's real estate initiatives within the branch.
  • Ensure timely delivery of complete executed documents to the post-closing department.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 1 year of banking, credit union, loan processing, Title Company or other related work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Conventional (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), and Texas 50(a)6 Home Equity lending.
  • Demonstrated experience processing complex, detailed information in an accurate and thorough manner.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external clients providing effective interpersonal communication and team skills.
